Malcolm X is an inspiration.
After deciding he had been a “zombie” in his worship of Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm broke with the Nation of Islam. He made a pilgrimage to Mecca, found himself floored by all the civilized people he met, came back to the United States and announced it was wrong to hate anyone.
